Enjoying Bangalore

Today we went to Jaaga, a center for media artists. We'll work here on a project with the German dancer Victoria Hauke in January, and before that Andi will have an artistic residency. He wants to do an interactive sound installation based on traffic sounds. More soon... Prashant plays records in a club called Bacchus every second sunday. Andi likes that there are many trees in town. Here's a pic of us cruising on Prashant's bike.

Poona, Attica

Just returning to Bangalore from our Gig in Poona (Pune). We played in Attica, a brand-new, huge club. Great sound system! Then got stuck in the Airport for 12 hours, no espresso. Pics follow soon.

Farewell Hyderabad

After one week of developing our PandA repertoire, one video shooting, newspaper interviews, many beautiful people, and also one food infection (ouch), we played our first gig at the Liquids club, with a great sound system and a fantastic view over town. Thanks crowd, for your cheers in our ears. We liked! Now off to Bangalore...

We're rehearsing in Balu's studio in Hyderabad. Outside is the craziest traffic and everybody's throwing crackers and fireworks in between the cars because tomorrow is "Diwali", the festival of light. The studio is sound proof and we play hours of sessions...!

Fello System reworked at STEIM

In the last month Andreas has worked on improvements of the Fello system which consists of his amplified Cello, a computer, and a set of sensors on the cello bow. It has been made travel proof and more stable by the crew at STEIM.

Welcome!

Hi everybody,
we're Prashant and Andreas, and this site is to keep everyone uptodate with our tour through India in November and December of 2010. Also, we plan to post recordings, videos, and images of our tour. We'll meet in Hyderabad in the next week. Then rehearse for some time, then go travel and play. Prashant plays a digital DJ setup through which he scratches Indian percussion sounds and his own DJ Unnayanna productions. Andreas joins in with his live-electric Cello system called Fello.
